OVERVIEW

The Konark Temple Visual Recreation project focused on reimagining heritage projection content through a modern technical pipeline. Rather than simply recreating existing visuals, the objective was to enhance clarity, depth, and projection accuracy while preserving the monument’s cultural authenticity.

The project combined advanced rendering techniques with a refined mapping workflow to create a more immersive and architecturally accurate visual experience.

OUR ROLE

From research and creative development to final execution, we led the complete visual recreation and technology upgrade of the Konark Temple projection experience. In association with Axis Three Dee Studios Pvt. Ltd., our team rebuilt legacy projection content, enhanced visual fidelity, and developed a more accurate 3D UV Mapping workflow that replaced conventional POV Mapping for complex architectural surfaces.

Behind the Production

This wasn’t just a content refresh—it was a technical reconstruction of an architectural projection pipeline.

  • Recreated and upgraded legacy projection content while preserving the temple’s cultural authenticity.

  • Improved visual clarity, depth, and large-scale projection performance.

  • Converted a traditional POV Mapping workflow into a more precise 3D UV Mapping pipeline.

  • Developed an internal geometry-aware workflow to improve alignment across intricate temple architecture.

  • Combined creative storytelling with advanced technical research to achieve more accurate and immersive projection results.

Every refinement respected the monument’s heritage while pushing projection technology toward greater precision and realism.
